Visited in June 2018Amazing place to stay, and Tilly is an awesome host- she was there to greet us, responded really quickly, flexible with check-in, very friendly and helpful. We also liked that Tilly was honest about the noise from the N2 (so we knew what to expect) but to be honest, it didn’t bother us at all- you so distracted by the beautiful surroundings it’s easy to ignore! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, it was clean, neat and tidy. We’ll definitely go back if we do a road trip up the Garden Route again.

Visited in November 2018What a lovely cottage and what perfect hospitality! Tilly went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed! Close to all the activities in Storms River - highly recommend!

Visited in May 2018Tilly welcomed us with a beautiful salad all from her vegetable garden in the evening as we arrived, which was a delightful start to a wonderful stay there. The cottage itself is lovely and romantic with all the comforts one could want. The private braai area is absolutely perfect and is set in a beautiful garden with an exquisite backdrop. Location is peaceful and so convenient. So many amazing things to see and do in Tsitsikamma but coming home to this place was the best way to end every day!

“Very warm welcome. Cozy complete and clean cottage. great base for Tsitsikamma National Park. Great food in the accompanying restaurant, you must sign up in advance because Tilly is only open for breakfast and lunch. The N2 is close, but we did not experience it as a nuisance.”

“Very nice accommodation, which we would choose again at any time. The pictures correspond exactly to the conditions on site. Our cottage was furnished with great attention to detail and equipped and left nothing to be desired. Although the property is directly adjacent to the main road, but did not bother. The hostess also runs a very nice cafe with good and cheap breakfast. The property is a perfect starting point for tours in the area.”

Very cute and well located cottage. Beautiful gardens and mountain views. The only thing that is n bit off putting is that it is next to the highway so it is not that peaceful and quiet, but the garden is set up in such a way that you do have your privacy. Good value for money.

ute little cottage, close to lots of outside activities. Very clean with all necessary amenities. Close to a highway so can get a bit noisy in the evenings.

Myself and my siblings booked Cottage. 1 for my parents as a weekend away and they had a wonderful time. The cottage was as in the pictures, with good quality linen and bathroom condiments. Lovely setting and they enjoyed hiking, reading outside and braai'ing, with a stunning view. Tilly was very helpful and was in communication prior to the trip. The check in and out times were flexible and my parents had a wonderful time away.
Neat and clean and very pretty like in the pictures. Great setting with stunning views. Lovely for a restful time away, or just as a stop over when passing by. highly recommended.

My husband and I spent two nights at Cottage 1 and we simply loved it. The cottage was freestanding and surrounded by beautiful scenery. With the accommodation being right iff the N2 road, you do hear cars travelling on the road, but this just faded into the background and didn't detract from the experience at all. Our cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, including loads of firewood and firelighters. We enjoyed bbq'ing and eating meals outdoors, on our private patio and spent our evenings on the patio, gazing up at the beautiful stars. The pool area was quiet and relaxing and the sun beds were super comfortable. We spent hours swimming and sun bathing at the pool area. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning.

The area is magnificent actually. There is so much to do. The accommodation was lovely but sadly too close to the main road. The village area was fabulous and has a fantastic vibe.

I was lucky enough to find this place a day before the long weekend. Thankfully they were able to accommodate us. We stayed in cottage 2 which has recently been renovated so it looks similar to cottage 1. It was a lovely little cottage that had everything we needed. Having tea on the balcony in the morning was great. Great value for money. I will definitely be staying there again when I take another trip to Storms River area again. Would highly recommend.
