Welcome to Tsitsikamma Gardens Self-Catering Cottages and Restaurant, comfortable and convenient accommodation in Tsitsikamma along the scenic Garden Route. Ideally located just off the N2 highway, our property offers easy-access accommodation near Storms River and the Tsitsikamma National Park, making it the perfect stopover or holiday base for travellers exploring this beautiful region.
Set in a peaceful garden environment next to a working dairy farm, our three self-catering cottages — including one pet-friendly option — offer stunning garden and mountain views. Due to our location directly alongside the N2, traffic noise can be expected at times — a small trade-off for our excellent accessibility and central location.
Our Tsitsikamma accommodation is perfectly suited for adventure lovers and nature enthusiasts. We are only 14 km from Storms River Village and 29 km from the Tsitsikamma National Park. Enjoy a wide range of activities including hiking the famous Otter Trail, forest walks, canopy tours and ziplining, kayaking and lilo adventures in the Storms River Gorge, and mountain biking. For thrill-seekers, experience bungee jumping from the world’s highest commercial bungy at Bloukrans Bridge.
Guests can relax in our tranquil gardens, ideal for bird watching, or unwind on a private patio surrounded by nature. Cottage guests also have access to a swimming pool at the main house, perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring.

With a passion for hospitality and a love for meeting new people, Sheila, also known locally as Tilly, founded Tsitsikamma Gardens Self-Catering Cottages in 2017 as a peaceful haven of comfort and relaxation. With more than 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she brings a warm, personal touch to every guest experience, making sure each visitor feels welcome and at home. From thoughtfully furnished cottages to the tranquil garden surroundings, Tilly pours heart and soul into every detail.
